HOPATCONG — A 19-year-old borough resident has been arrested for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a girl who was under 16. Thomas Kmetz said the girl's father notified police his daughter had been in a sexual relationship with Laureano.
According to this: Andrew Laureano is charged with second-degree sexual assault and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. Hopatcong Detective William Sutphen and a detective from the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office investigated, and interviewed Laureano and the girl, he said.
"It was found that the two had a sexual dating relationship for several months," Kmetz wrote in a press release on the incident.
Laureano was lodged in the Sussex County Correctional Facility in lieu of ,000 bail.
